Marble Arch is a Grade II listed Georgian Townhouse in Bayswater, London, a single Family House of over 16,000sq ft, with magnificent views overlooking Hyde Park.

TSP was appointed as Main Contractor to undertake the construction of a new Basement under the building to house a Swimming Pool, Spa, Gymnasium, Steam Room and Bar. In addition TSP undertook the complete refurbishment of the other 5 existing floors of the House.

During 1944 the adjoining property owned by Sisters of the Adoration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Montmartre, known as Tyburn Convent was bombed. The Chimney stack fell through the ceilings of No 1. With the evolution of cement the ceilings were repaired with an incredibly strong cement mix over the original laths. These ceilings were deemed to be unsafe and thus removed along with the Original Georgian Cornices to to the Ground Floor and the fashionable Victorian French Style mouldings to the First Floor Reception Rooms. All of the mouldings in the property were replicated and reinstated in their original form including the Overdoors and Garlands of Flowers.

The end result was a stunning single dwelling with finishes of the highest standard and quality.
